Privacy & Cookies
Last updated: 2026-06-02
This notice explains how Almadar uses analytics and cookies across our sites (almadar.io, orb.almadar.io, services.almadar.io, studio.almadar.io, and masar.almadar.io) and the choices available to you.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how our sites and the Studio app are used so we can improve them. When enabled, GA4 collects:
- pages/screens viewed and in-product actions (e.g. submitting a prompt, compiling, navigating);
- a pseudonymous client identifier and session information;
- technical data such as browser, device type, and approximate (coarse, IP-derived) location.
We do not use advertising features, and we do not sell your data. We send GA4 only non-identifying metadata — for example the length of a prompt, not its text — and never your prompt or message content.
Cookies and similar storage
| Name | Purpose | Set when |
|---|---|---|
almadar_analytics_consent | Remembers your analytics choice across our sites | Always (strictly necessary) |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics client/session identifiers | Only after you allow analytics |
The consent cookie is strictly necessary to honor your choice and is exempt from consent. The Google Analytics cookies are set only if you opt in.
Your choices (consent)
Analytics is off by default. The first time you visit, a banner lets you
Allow or Decline. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie scoped
to .almadar.io, so it applies across all of our sites.
You can change your mind at any time by:
- clearing the
almadar_analytics_consentcookie (and the_gacookies) in your browser — you'll be asked again on your next visit; or - installing Google's opt-out browser add-on; or
- enabling "Do Not Track" / tracking protection in your browser.
For EEA/UK visitors, analytics runs under Google Consent Mode, defaulting to denied until you opt in.
